This is a very perfect and charming setting. Everything was at a high standard, including the food, staff and accommodation. It was raining when we arrived but that didn’t spoilt it. This was our second time at Tenta Nakara. We love the place and the staff. They are very helpful. Food is delicious. We also love the dogs. When you go to the village, the dogs wait for you until you go home again.
There is a little shop in the village near the pier. There, you can take a cup of coffee and buy some cookies. She can’t speak English so you have to talk with your hands. You can borrow things to try fishing on the pier. I have got several fish. Next year we will be back again.

This was our first time in Thailand and we (by lucky chance) found this place on internet. Made reservation and booked pick up from Phuket airport. Easy! We were met by the most wonderful staff helping out with jelly fish burn tips (vinegar) and travel tips. Food – delicious! We ordered crabs one day before and ate freshly steamed crab the day after. Try the Thai massage. Walk along the beach and get up to see the sunrise is our best tips. The dogs were an extra plus and the puppies sooo cute!! We will definitely come back. We can just hope the rest of our trip will continue on the same note. Big thank you to all Tenta Nakara staff for making our stay here the best vacation ever!

Coming from England means we are used to all the luxuries like Mc Donalds. Clean W lchli Markus cold showers – no bugs at all…ect. I thought I would hate it here but I was proven wrong. The people in the village and the staff are so kind and are great people to be with. I felt I blended in. They were nice. The beach looks amazing and the animals – dogs / puppies are so wonderful to be around, it’s calm, released – no stress!! I’ve love every minute – an unforgettable experience. Absolutely wonderful experience. This is truly a paradise. The staffs are very attentive and helpful. The whole place is un spoilt by human and everything in tune with nature. You don’t have to carry money with you as every thing is charged to the room which is yet another experience that not all is bout money. The staff are so wonderful, it was a pity that they did not speak English a lot so we could not learn more about the place. I felt lucky when I found Tenta Nakara after days of surfing. Expectations were high but reality is even more pleasant than I had dreamt of. Both my wife and I and the girls have enjoyed the warm hospitality from the staff. Our nights in the tent were nice due to the breeze through the mosquito net. The food is very good and tasteful. We found Tenta Nakara online and thought it was too good to be true since we have been looking for a quiet place away from people with a beach and we didn’t have a lot of money to spend, we thought we were dreaming. Equipped with a few good books, suntan lotion, you don’t need anything else as it is all here already: Peace, wonderful nature, nicely trimmed garden and amazing bungalows. After night time (generator off) we enjoyed the silence of the nature (which is no so silent at all as nature gets alive at this time). All in all we had these 10 days stay and will be happy to return anytime! Thank you to staff for being so kind and helpful.

Awesome place, fantastic stay although the weather could have been better but that’s not up to Tenta Nakara of course we’ve loved everything, especially feeling of “private” this resort provides, as well as all those crazy jungle sounds during the night. Open bathroom was also quite an experience. And the food is to-die-for!

Unbelievably warm hospitality. Nature’s paradise. A great place to recharge our batteries and find peace of mind. Walking through the jungle to the other village was an adventure. Everyday a big smile, so helpful, nice and every day and night time friendly although we didn’t reserve for our staying time . Having not been to Thailand before, I checked the blogs from travelers regarding Phuket. Over and over I noticed Tenta Nakara. Its’ review gave 9 out of 10. The comments made it impossible not to come here. Well, it fulfilled our dream and more!! This place is exactly as described, “Heaven on Earth”. Just sitting looking out through palm fringes, at the sun dappled Sea, birdcall, tinkle of coconut chimes and letting the peace envelop you…. As for the staff, especially Sak & Pat, what can we say… To be amongst these kind gentle people where nothing, but your comfort, matters is very humbling. We loved just sitting & staff watching the peace & happiness radiating from them as they went about their work. The accommodation was unbelievably comfortable & spotless with very much thought put into the guests’ comfort. We loved the shower room & superb view from the verandah, especially sunrise. We will take very happy memories back from this beautiful place!!

We have been to Thailand several times and have mostly stayed at luxury resorts and bungalows. We got the tips from a friend, who was very anxious to know about Tenta Nakara. So we told her that we could go there to tell her our experience.
We have not regretted that we took the trip from South Phuket up to this wonderful place. We have really go a new experience living in a tent, that we have not done since the 70s.
The place is wonderful, service and treatment are excellent and we even ate and drank more than we brought fund to pay. But even that can easily be resolved by Mr. Paul. We will surely recommend our friends both here and in Sweden to come here to get a full relaxation and experience.

Thank you so much for what was by far the most relaxing part of our trip. This vacation was part whirlwind tour of Thailand and part honeymoon. Tenta Nakara really makes the honeymoon part. It was a real treat to come to a place so far away from the hustle and sustle we have placed ourselves in for the past two weeks. A fantastic way to end our trip! …. I agree with everything my husband stated above and will add a few comments. The service was very nice even before we arrived. It was wonderful of Paul to arrange our transport by taxi from ferry to Ao Por pier, the long tail boat here. Once we arrived all of the staff were friendly and eager to help, and we received a very warm greeting from Mr. Sak. I have a general vision of the type of place where we might enjoy wrapping up our honeymoon – had we been here before my vision would not have been so general: this was exactly the perfect place for us! Thank you for creating a relaxing oasia of calm, without creating a generic resort where one feels they could be anywhere in the world.

When we chose Tenta Nakara we read the comments from the guests and there were not an unsatisfied guest! Congratulation for that Mr. Sak. How can you not be happy on this little paradise? You get the white sand, the blue sea, the tent into the palm and banana trees… you get the most delicious Thai soups and the best fresh lemonade! Thank you! And you got a very good service. Always with a smile from the staff! Our children, 2 and 5 years, loved the place too. Thank you Tenta Nakara for the real nature adventure! We are looking forward to visiting you again.

We arrived straight off the airplane to paradise. We really needed a good rest before starting our travels in Thailand, we certainly were not disappointed. We have been sailing around the Andaman Sea for four days before being drawn in by the “Cold Beer” sign. We actually opted for water melon & pine apple smoothies and were immediately struck by the warmth and hospitality of the staff (family?) We enjoyed a wonderful meal under torrential rain and a wonderful rest in the bungalow. Now we are ready to hit the high sea again.

I arrived the first day not expecting all of it but once I settled in, which did not take long, I found out how beautiful and surreal it is. The people were fantastic and catered for every one need from care to food. They are very thoughtful people. It’s a beautiful island that I can only dream about. I could not ask for anything more and would definitely come back again…

Arrived at night and wake up to find our selves submerged in nature. The view from our bungalows was breath taking and a great way to start our holiday in Thailand. We were the only one here too!! The staffs were friendly and helpful from when we get off the boat helping us with our bags and cooking nice meals.
Our second day was relaxed as it can be here. Finish off with the steamed fish freshly caught. Thank you for a great stay…

This is a wonderful place to spend a few days. The food is something else and so too is the hospitality. We will be telling our friends to come & stay. The sunrises are magic and watching them from the comfort of the bungalows are awesome.

We found this place accidentally from internet, couldn’t been better!! After Bangkok, it is very relaxing and peaceful. We can recommend this “heaven” to our friends in Finland. The staffs were friendly and helpful and the Big Boss organized everything you want.

Thanks a lot for this peaceful hideaway. As we searched dozen of websites, we found by hazard, Tenta Nakara. What a surprise! Thailand and his nature at it’s best. Especially the kitchen crew (seafood) and the service was perfect, always a smile, always friendly. The kids loved their own tent, and that we had a beach on our own! We will recommend this place just to best friends, so it will stay as we learned to appreciate it! Secrets are secrets, especially such a gem! We spent nine nights here at Tenta Nakara and we found out that “Heaven is still on Earth”! The people here are amazing and the food is very nice.
Everyday the daughter, Liv, has been taken care of her new friends and her new mother no. 2 and they’ve been giving her lot of bananas! 3 Fish eagles, 2 herons, a bright yellow bird, “Madame Lucky” the black kitten, a super high-low tide, rainstorms, double rainbow and paradise found. I have been traveling 20+ years and there are “gems” along the way, Tenta Nakara is a “brilliant” gem. Treasure the simple beauties. I love this place, it shall be my lost weekends out of Bangkok.
